Well hello blog. I'm back again! Feeling the need to put stuff out there, but not too quickly 'out there' as it would be posting on Stalkbook.

A couple of acquaintances have been following a 30 day song challenge on afore-referenced social network. I like the idea, but didn't like a few of the daily challenges. Who wants to bother sharing music you hate? So I'm following my own edited version. Let's see if I make it to day 30!

Day 1: your favourite song. As if anyone has an all-time favourite, the go anywhere do anything song. I am instead going to put down a favourite piece of music; actually one i haven't listened to in a long time, but only because I don't need to anymore; the 2nd movement of Beethoven's 5th piano concerto (The Emporer). I've been in the backing band for a few different performances of this one, and listened alone many times to calm my worried spirits, that I know every note. The yearning of one heart for another is unmistakeable in this piece; I guess that's why it's a popular film-score choice. Enjoy.
